More about this experience:
Dancing Water is a cross-cultural live performance night where music and dance flow across borders — from Persia to the Mediterranean and Southern Spain, featuring QÂNÂT Music and live dance performances by Rahaavi Studio.

About QÂNÂT Music
Drawing from deep-rooted oral histories and ancestral sounds, QÂNÂT blends old Balearic work songs with the modal textures of Central Asian music—including influences from Iran, Turkey, Tajikistan, and the ancient region of Khorasan. At the heart of the project is the remarkable melodic kinship between Balearic field songs—once sung during rural labor—and the ancient echoes of Byzantine chant. QÂNÂT bridges these traditions, crafting new musical landscapes through original compositions, instrumental dialogues, and vocal ornamentations that celebrate the shared soul of these distant-yet-connected cultures.
